Patient Questions:

•  How long is the appointment? Generally our appointments only last 15 minutes including patient sign up and checkout.

•  Do you take insurance? Your scan should be submitted under your medical insurance. We provide you a medical insurance claim form, walkout receipt, and insurance letter for improved reimbursement. Our patients experience up to 75% reimbursement of their scan and radiology review.

•  How much is the scan? Our pricing is very competitive. Our fees vary based on the scan your doctor has requested. Please contact our imaging center to get an exact fee.

•  What form of payment do you accept? We accept checks and all major credit cards.

•  Describe the scan. Our goal is patient comfort and convenience. The scan will last between 8 and 20 seconds. No injections or medication is required. Our patients often comment, "is that all?"

•  Do I lay down for this procedure? No. Our industry leading equipment is a sit down machine optimized for patient comfort.

•  Why is your center different from Medical CT imaging centers? Our dental specific scanners often patient comfort, reduce scan times, better image quality, and most importantly less radiation. Medical CT machines will require the patient to lie down and take two to seven minutes to scan. Sometimes rescans require another patient appointment if there is movement due to length of the scan.

•  Do I take the scan with me to my doctor? Our service includes the delivery to your referring doctor. If you wish to have a copy of the image, we will provide you the DICOM or a copy to any doctor without an additional fee.

•  How long does it take for my doctor to receive the images? We are able to usually provide your doctor your images within two business days.
